Join Katie for 2.5 hours of relaxing, restoring and renewing in the beautiful Shiva Studio just outside of Newquay.
Restorative yoga is all about learning the art of relaxation and is a powerful tool for healing, reducing stress and anxiety, and bringing greater peace to our lives.
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation which encourages you to drop into a state of deep relaxation similar to when you are just about to fall asleep. Yoga Nidra translates to Yogic Sleep and 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is said to be as restful as 2 hours of conventional sleep.
The session will begin with some gentle stretches and breathing exercises to help you settle. Then you will be guided into several restorative yoga poses, getting the body as deliciously comfortable as possible in each pose with the help of cushions, blocks and blankets.
The session will finish with a guided Yoga Nidra Mediation and some delicious sweet treats and tea. Dreamy.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is open to beginners and more advanced students alike as I always give lots of options. If you have any injuries or physical/mental difficulties you are working with right now please let me know before the class.
